Online conference «Loss of forest coverage in Ukraine according to Global Forest Watch»

On Thursday, May 19, at 4 pm, Oleh Chaskovskyi, co-founder of the NGO «Forestcom», head of the Forest Monitoring Laboratory and expert on remote sensing of the Earth, will hold a webinar to share the results of forest loss monitoring in Ukraine. The study was conducted on the basis of data from the statistical platform «Global Forest Watch».

During the conference, you can learn how to use satellite imagery to detect tree loss and find out which services are best to do this. We will also discuss the frequency of monitoring and the possibility of using electronic maps of wood loss for spatial analysis.
