Webinar on the FSC Project for National Risk Assessment (NRA) of Controlled Timber in Ukraine

We invite you to participate in a webinar dedicated to discussing the FSC project for the National Risk Assessment (NRA) of controlled timber in Ukraine. This event is part of the public consultation process.

🕓 Time: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM  

⏳ Duration: 2 hours (The webinar is planned for 2 hours, but we ask you to reserve an additional hour until 2:00 PM in case of unforeseen circumstances.)

🔗 Platform:Zoom (A link will be sent to registered participants one day before the event.)

Participants: Representatives from forestry enterprises and the woodworking industry, environmental and social NGOs, FSC certificate holders, certification bodies, the State Forest Agency of Ukraine, and other interested parties.

The NRA project has been developed by the NGO "Forest Initiatives and Community" (ForestCom) in accordance with the updated FSC risk assessment system FSC-PRO-60-006b V2-0, which addresses the requirements of the EUDR for the supply of timber products. The consultation period runs from December 17, 2024, to January 30, 2025. The NRA project and the forms for submitting comments, remarks, and suggestions are available in both English and Ukrainian.

During the webinar, key aspects of the NRA project will be presented, highlighting the most critical points of the risk assessment. The event aims to gather feedback from participants on the key elements of the risk assessment and to help attendees better understand the document for more detailed formulation of their comments and suggestions.
